Roy Fokker

History

Roy Fokker's flight suit in the original show was grey but the Matchbox action figure made it blue. I used the Matchbox cardback as a reference for Roy's face and apparently mixed my memory so I ended up making his suit blueish grey.

Since Roy is taller than Rick, I wanted to make him in scale since the toys are the exact same size which I never liked. I understand that it's cheaper to use the same mold from a toy manufacturing point of view but it doesn't fit the character.

Roy has big anime hair like Rick so the helmet also had to be made a little bigger to fit. Even though he is taller, Roy fits in the Veritech cockpit perfectly although it is obvious that the pilot should be be about 6 inches to be in proper scale. I could only make the Veritech as big as it is, which is almost 3 feet, before it was too big to even hold.
